Spartan Strength & Conditioning is dedicated to promoting a strong body, a strong mind, and an athletic lifestyle. Our mission is to educate and motivate our members using proven and tested methods rooted in real exercise science and human performance. We are passionate about helping individuals achieve their fitness goals and lead a healthy lifestyle. At Spartan Strength & Conditioning, we aim to stand out from our competitors by providing exceptional training programs and a supportive community to our members.

Spartan Strength & Conditioning is fully equipped to support athletes of all levels, offering everything you need to train with intensity and purpose. Our facility features top-tier equipment designed to help you build strength, improve endurance, and enhance your athletic performance.
 

  • Strength Training Essentials: We have multiple squat racks, barbells, dumbbells, and kettlebells to support everything from heavy lifting to functional strength exercises. Each piece of equipment is selected for durability and performance, allowing you to push your limits safely.
     

  • Functional Training Zone: Our 20-yard turf area is perfect for explosive movements, sled pushes, and agility drills. With functional equipment including sleds, medicine balls, and more, you can focus on building speed, power, and endurance in a dedicated space.
     

  • Conditioning Equipment: For those looking to improve cardiovascular fitness, our facility offers a variety of cardio tools that are designed to complement the strength work we prioritize, the focus is on the dynamic, high-intensity training that pushes your limits and builds endurance.
     

  • Specialized Recovery Tools: We know recovery is just as important as training. Our facility includes Normatec boots, E-stim, soft tissue and cupping options, giving you the tools you need to recover faster and perform better.

Collins, the founder and head coach of Spartan Strength & Conditioning, created the gym with a mission to bring back what’s often overlooked in the health and fitness industry—real science and professional coaching. His vision was simple: no fads, no gimmicks, just proven methods that deliver real results.
 

With over 25 years of experience in the fitness industry, Collins has held various roles, including Nutrition Specialist, Exercise Physiologist, Personal Trainer, and Training Manager. This diverse background has given him a unique perspective on the industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science and Human Performance and is a dually certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) with the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA).

PHYSICAL THERAPIST & PERFORMANCE COACH

Dr. Alex Samuel was born in Brooklyn, NY and graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Pennsylvania State University in 2015. During his time there, he spent two years competing as a Track and Field Sprinter for the university. After his undergraduate graduation, Dr. Samuel obtained his CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) certification, giving him extensive knowledge in strength training athletes of various sport populations.
 
In 2020, Dr. Samuel graduated from New York Institute of Technology obtaining his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He has conducted research in gait biomechanics of both short and long distance runners and is now able to create greater connections with patients who suffer from running related injuries and allow them to feel comfortable working with him.
 
As a physical therapist, Dr. Samuel believes “Exercise is medicine. As each of us age, our bodies unfortunately begin to deteriorate. Exercise is the easiest way to counteract our body’s natural aging process so that we may continue to live our lives to its fullest potential.”

Ralph was born in Brooklyn, NY, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports and Exercise Science from the University of Central Florida. With a passion for helping clients reach their full potential, he has worked with a diverse range of individuals, including youth athletes, adaptive athletes, and adults of all fitness levels. His philosophy: “It’s easier to actively chase improvement versus stopping just short,” drives his dedication to coaching.

In addition to his work with everyday clients, Ralph has extensive experience training elite athletes, including NFL stars such as Tyreek Hill, Brandon Graham, Jonnu Smith, and JK Dobbins, as well as collegiate athletes from FAU, FIU, UM, and UCF. His expertise also extends to MLB, NBA, professional soccer, and MMA athletes, showcasing his ability to tailor training programs for any level of performance.

Ralph also provides online coaching with his personal company called 2EZ, allowing him to connect with clients beyond the gym. His credentials include certifications from NASM as a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES), and Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES). He is an F45 and TRX-certified trainer and has completed Bommarito University’s Movement, Agility, Speed, and Specificity program.

Additionally, Ralph is certified in sports safety, holding NFHS certifications in Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Concussion in Sports, and Heat Illness Prevention. His personalized, innovative approach ensures clients—whether beginners or professionals—achieve their goals while prioritizing safety, performance, and long-term development.

Born and raised in Boston, MA, Jenn has spent over 14 years in the health and fitness industry helping women transform their lives. Holding degrees in Exercise Science and Physical Therapy, along with several specialty certifications in personal training, group exercise, women’s health, and nutrition, Jenn is passionate about empowering women to feel confident in their bodies and their lives.

With a focus on women’s health, Jenn works closely with clients to build strength, resilience, and self-assurance, using tailored strategies designed to suit individual needs. As The ConFITdence Coach, Jenn extends her mission through online coaching programs that help women develop sustainable, healthy lifestyles while improving their overall self-esteem.

Jenn believes in the power of movement and mindset, frequently sharing inspirational messages like, “Your fitness journey should be a celebration of what your body can do, not a punishment.”

Whether coaching one-on-one, leading a group class, or offering guidance through online platforms, Jenn is committed to making a difference in women’s lives—both inside and outside the gym.

Ashley Martin is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio and moved to Fort Lauderdale from Tampa, Florida. She has been a personal trainer both in person and online since 2021 and has been in the fitness industry since 2016. Ashley is certified through NFPT with experience in functional, HIIT, strength and hypertrophy training.

 

At 16 years old, she fell in love with fitness because of the way it transformed her not only physically but also mentally. Now, she has developed a new passion for helping others find self love through fitness as well. Ashley’s mission at URewired LLC is to "rewire the mind by transforming the body, one small daily habit at a time." Her fitness philosophy focuses on helping clients achieve lasting change through sustainable habits that seamlessly integrate into their daily lives. Most importantly, she ensures the process is enjoyable and tailored to each client’s unique needs and preferences.

 

Ashley works with a wide range of clients, from those with specific goals like strength building or fat loss to individuals simply looking to enhance their day-to-day quality of life. She has experience training clients as young as 18 and as old as 87, welcoming everyone to embark on a fitness journey that transforms their life in an enjoyable and sustainable way, lasting a lifetime.
